The course:
Gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. The course covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques and includes a student manual. Recommended for adults and children above age fourteen, this fast-paced, nine-hour course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling. _________________ -------------------

It's kinda like, if I wanted to weld I could just buy a welding rig, read some instructions, and have a go at it. But if I really wanted to be a welder, teach people the skill and maybe make some money doing it, I'd invest time, money and a good amount of dues-paying in order to gain that legitimate classification. _________________ ------------[] O |
