I would like to do the race but, I don't have a partner. This would be my first go at it. I don't really know anyone in the group though I did do the Chosen Frozen ride. Let me know if you're interested (just don't expect to win with me, though slightly competitive). hellodorothy2003@yahoo.com

Does anyone know any more about this race?
Is it a fun 5 miler or a 30 miler, etc? I know Dan and Dave's style and preference but have not heard anything else

I heard the race was rather short when Dave was distributing the posters.

Dan and I have a plan that is date friendly but not trivial. If you don't have a partner for the event, just pair up at the court house.

The weather report looks good for Saturday but we go rain or shine.

Would anyone be willing to let me interview them for an Anthropology research project about bikes in Lexington? If so, let me know before or after the race so I can get your contact details.

Appropriate name for this alleycat on Valentines day. I had big plans for today. I wanted to ride this alleycat and spend some time with my wife beforehand. We really aren't into commercial holidays, but spending time together is great. Yesterday my wife said she wasn't feeling very well and was going to take it easy. So today I woke up and my wife gave a great gift, her cold. It is a beautiful day outside and I want to race, but I don't want to worsen my sickness. LOVE HURTS! Hopefully it is just a twenty-four hour bug and I can still play polo tomorrow. Good luck to all racers!

I hope it's a short cold too, Ben. Sara and I have been sick with some crazy sinus thing for nearly 2 weeks.

Great race! The destinations were appropriate for the theme. I just wanted to clarify that I haven't had a flare in up a few months, so the trip to UTC STD doc was unnecessary and a little humiliating.

Kyle and Drew were so sleek, fast, and dominating but they still suck. Laughing Did they buy everybody a beer for winning? Nooo...instead they took their pink satin handcuffs they won and did unspeakable things in the backroom. I didn't know people could make those kind of sounds....like distressed whale courtship song.

Actually it was all fantastic and nice seeing the couple of tandem riders, and the female duo won first as well. Our dapper red-bearded barkeep was a welcome sight at the end of it all.

Cheers!

Thanks to everyone that came out for the race! Thanks to the checkpoint workers and to Brad for opening the Sidecar early. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

On a side note, I was planning on putting up the pictures of everyone that I took at registration along with their first names so that people can put names with faces. Does anyone have any objections to that?
