 |
				| so, does anyone know how a "sport" gets added to these Games? http://www.bgsg.org/sports.php

I mean, if cornhole, flag football and canoeing are all official Bluegrass State Games sports, why couldn't something like... oh, maybe BIKE POLO be added?

What cabinet member / fat-cat / beauty queen / big tobacco crony do we need to start bribing?

				| Im willing to bet they would be more than happy to accomodate it if you can prove people outside of Lexington play in the state. Given the facilities you all developed in town, you have a pretty substatial argument there. What about Louisville, Bowling Green, Ashland, Berea, etc.? I know I dont know of any people from back home in Covington that play, but I am kind of removed from the area now. That said, I know people from other states can enter the bike races, they just cannot be declared state champion even if they win. In one case, there was a guy who entered the Masters division of the Time Trial a few years ago, and finished towards the bottom of the division, but was state champ because he was the highest finishing resident.
Id bet Lexington Parks and Rec would love to be able to bring an even to Coolavin though.

				| yeah... I have no idea what other cities in the state play bike polo. I have no idea what's up with Louisville and Northern KY... these are big metro areas... you'd think they would have something going on.
The rest of Kentucky, step up with your bike shiz!
