There is the best news thread thus far. Every Wed. We ride a pretty fast paced road ride through some popular canons in the springs. I was on the ride along with 4 others. Two of which were killed when hit by an ford f350. We were decending a fast hill in which we were riding about 20 mph due to weather conditions of light to moderate sprinkle, and semi wet roads. Riding single file on the "Shoulder". Myself and one other rider were leading, about 40 yards ahead of the two victims. We heard a crash and no brake noise. Turned around to find our friends struck, and carbon fiber bike schrapnell strewn about. The worst bike on car i have ever seen. The driver was trying to make a left turn with no signal, and possibly under the infulence of drugs. She hit them head on with the right front corner of the truck. My friends were pronounced dead at the scene. We are having a vigle and taking ghost bikes to the site today. Just figured i would let people know and ask them to give there condolences.
Thanks Alot
Tall George

I sorry to hear about your friends, George... and sorry for you that you had to be there to experience such an event. That could've easily been you, my friend... I'm thankful that it wasn't, but those poor guys behind you... man.

You can never, ever know what to fully expect out there. Every ride is a risk.

Be safe, and take care.

Thank you guys. I know my ride into work was especilly worriesome, its like every car has the potential to put an end to you. It will make you think twice when riding.
Thanks again,
Edgar Juarez E.J. 30 years young was from chicago, and Jayson Killroy 27 was from Detriot, both are being shiped home for services, and Jayson's family is sending his ashes back to CO to be spread where he was living the dream.
