				| I am looking for a new to set of Vbrakes and know little to nothing about them. Any suggestions, what work well, what to stay away from? These will be used for polo if that makes a difference. | |

				| shimano deore with brake booster seem to do the trick just fine. moderate price, easily tuned and reliable. plus some kool-stop red and blacks. Salsa has a NOS brake booster that is sweeeeet if you can find one. _________________

				| V-brakes are probably the easiest brakes to set up and keep maintained in proper working order. They're strong, and fairly cheap. My only problem with them is that stupid noodle.
Agreed with Drew... Shimano Deores are perfecty fine brakes. And if you break one, you're only out like, $15 for a new one.
