We should have a volunteer drive at Broke Spoke to fix up and give away kids bikes for Christmas! This has been done in other cities and it seems like it would be an excellent way to get some press for the shop, create some good will in the community, and spread some holiday cheer.
Is this feasible in such a short time frame? I will have lots of free time over the holidays and would be more than willing to help repair bikes if we can get some donations. Maybe it's too late but I think we might be able to scrape something together.
What do you think? _________________ "AK'll light up your chest like ET."

Good idea, but I think we don't have the stuff to really crank it out yet.
However, BCC is doing their bike give away this weekend and looking for some help if you are interested.
There will be lots of opportunities in the spring for stuff like this and other programs to get kids involved in bikes.
see you tomorrow at the show? |
