Hi all-

New to the forum and group - looks pretty sweet. Rode home from working at UK for lunch, set my bike on my driveway gate. Went outside ~45 min later and it was gone. Thief had stones and must have been ninja stealthy, it was about ten feet from my kitchen door and my dogs didn't even bark. Details follow, if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it! Yah, it's a frankenbike, but it sure is fun to ride. Thanks in advance!

Taken from Liberty Rd, just west of Henry Clay intersection on 14 May 2010
if you see it, please call Jonathan at (937) 213-3259

Came home from work today to a message from LFUCG Police - someone had turned in my frankenbike! Went down expecting a busted ass frame and no components....to my amazement, the only thing wrong was a rear flat!

Turns out some workmen downtown found it left on one of their trucks. They turned it in, police called UK with my bike permit number and got my name, and the rest is history. I had been hoping whoever took it was hating the one gear, funny geometry, and 'cross brake setup - maybe they did....

A big thanks to the Lex bike cops! ....and I will never bad-mouth the UK bike permit program again.
