Tuesday Feb 5th is Fat Tuesday

Meet at Thoroughbred Park (Corner of Main and Midland) at 8:15.
Ride will be less than 4 miles through and around downtown.
Finish at Gumbo YaYa's (Broadway and Virginia Ave)
YaYa's will be stocked with plenty of BBC, Abita and King Cake.

Decorate your bike, your self, and bring some beads to throw.

For those who rallied last year on an impromptu gathering I think we had a great time riding around downtown in UK Basketball game traffic.

T-storms and 20mph winds scheduled for 8pm tomorrow.

I'm planning on Celito Lindo (aka Mexi-donalds) for beer and fish tacos around 6:30 if anyone wants to hang beforehand.

EDIT: as long as the weather looks like the ride will still happen. otherwise, its straight to Ya Ya's.

So tomorrow is supposed to be nasty weather. If you look out your window at 7:45 and it is raining then the bike ride is off. I say 7:45 because that is the time I would leave my house to meet at the park. So if it is raining at 7:45 then I am not biking over.

However, if it is nasty tomorrow then get all your friends and (**gulp**) car pool over to Ya Yas and celebrate.
