so , i'm out on another trip out west and have an opportunity to once again stock up on ski poles for the upcoming polo year. I'd like to try and gauge the amount of interest in poles. During this time of year, I can pretty much get however many we need, but it all comes out of my pocket, which ends up being a pain in the ass. depending on shipping costs and quality of poles, the cost per pole may be 3 to 5 bucks each.
So my question is: who wants poles? how many? what length? and to whoever is taking care of the polo funds ( maybe tiff?), is there enough cash to pay me upfront when i get back for these so i don't have to wait 4 months to get any kind of money back and lose cash on the deal? thanks for the heads up. please let me know asap as i'll only be able to buy poles for a few more days. _________________ pterodactyl bike gang for life! |

the material is something that i can definitely look for, but it is rarely marked and if it is 7075, it generally costs a fair amount more. honestly, from my experience, it doesn't really matter which kind of aluminum you are playing with. i've broken a 7075 mallet during my first game with it and had another lower quality one that has lasted for months. the i'm sure other people have had similar experiences. i'll definitely cherry pick the poles at thrift stores out here, but i'm trying to get an idea of how many to ship back. thanks. _________________ pterodactyl bike gang for life! |

I can give you cash in advance for some poles before you go. Just come to polo tomorow or I can deliver. Just let me know. Also, I don't care what alloy they are. |

thanks for the responses guys. i've picked up 18 or 20 poles and will ship them back ground as cheap as possible. many are pretty long for those of you who prefer a mallet with some length. they'll be in town within a week or two. i'll be back on the 1st of june to take orders and the like. thanks. _________________ pterodactyl bike gang for life! |
