Interview with team director "Donny Quixote:"

"Are they punk rock in the sense that they’re underage, broke, speed freaks who are rebelling against they parents and looking to get drunk before they go fuck something up? No. These girls are punk rock in the sense that they’re a DIY minority focused on changing the status quo. They don’t want to be the top- they just want to level the top."

I always thought the DIY ethic was the first thing that started separating out the post-punks from the punks, actually (starting with the Desperate Bicycles--check out the "Cars" track), but whatever. Looks like a fun bunch.
