I am excited. Haven't ridden in an alleycat since Ride of the Living Dead in October. Going to be a long one? |

This race is going to test your navigation skills and street knowledge more than your long distance riding ability. |

WEATHER UPDATE: The rain is going to hold off until later, so we are on like Genghis Khan, ladies!

Thanks for a super-fun race, Logan. Those who skipped out on this one missed one mind-bender of a race... It kinda felt like a bike version of pin the tail on the donkey... even if you had a map you were still sort of flying blind trying to come up with the most efficient route.
I now have a new appreciation for the back-alleys of Downtown Lexington.
Congrats to the ladies' sweep! _________________ ------------[] O |

I'm glad that the brave dozen who came out had a good time. And that I got to invoke the overall winner/fastest female double prize clause.
Pictured below: double winner, second place, and double-DFL. They were also the only four to find all 15 Actual Alleys* and make it back to Al's before the 9pm cutoff.
*you have no idea how funny it was hearing people's theories about what an Actual Alleycat was going to be in the week leading up to the race. |
