Does anyone know if the guy on Mentelle still refurbs bikes and sells them? He used to have a shit ton of beaters out every weekend, but I am not sure if he only does it seasonally or if I should go knocking. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

The last few years he's done a spring sale, usually the week of the Bike Lexington events, but I haven't noticed him doing much more than that.

Asher has moved from Mentelle, sold everthing worth mentioning, and is no longer in the business. I keep encouraging him to take it up again, but he's not into it now because of no storage facilities..yada yada. He works at Kroger at the U-scan Express on Sunday mornings if you want to inquire about anything he has left. You can tell him I sent ya.

I have his number if you want to be a creeper about this whole thing.

He's a really nice guy, but the quality of the bikes is usually questionable.
