Revised Car List:
Katie Jo's Car: Her, Megan
Tiff: Her and Chris (leaving Friday afternoon)
Jessie's Car: Her, Julia, Drew, Kyle (maybe Andy, I might have misheard)
Matt (going to K.C. before): Matt and Allison
Pat: Pat, Brian, Myself (full with 3)
Christina: Her, Nick, and Jared
If anyone would like to combine cars, so as all cars are full and we can take one less car, this is an option.
I think the general plan for most people is to leave Saturday morning early, so as to get there when the event starts at 11. It is a 5 and a half hour drive and you have to take in account the time change, which saves you an hour going there. If people are leaving then we can caravan, I think leaving at 6 should be fine to have enough time to stop once for gas and/or food.
We need to eat before the event since food will not be served till 4 pm.

Brian is right, event starts at 12:30, my bad.
Katie Jo, talk to Jessie, I think she has a full car, maybe steal one of hers.
Pat's plan is to leave at 6, and take it slow. We can meet up near the interstate and caravan if anyone else is leaving at that time. |

Leaving at 6 in the AM would put you in STL at 10:30 in the AM, right? That's a bit early? My math skills are virtually non existent...so, correct me if I'm wrong... |

I'm not much of a fan of the road trip caravan. There's always that one car that is like, an hour behind everyone else and it just causes everyone to be late.
Another thing to keep in mind about the travel times, Lucky has recommended that everyone eat lunch on their own before getting to the lock-in because as Jakub said above, first food won't be served until 4pm at the Skatium. Also, you never know what kinds of traffic you're going to run into along the way. Better safe to leave earlier than later. _________________ ------------[] O |

I hope nobody sneaks into your houses and unmatches all your socks while you're gone.
And that I'm not the prime suspect if that does happen. |

Get brunch/lunch at the Black Bear Bakery. They are a lock-in sponsor, a bunch of anarchists, and they do a big brunch every Saturday from 9-2.
http://www.blackbearbakery.org/
It's on Cherokee street, which is kinda what we've got for "hip, urban culture" in St Louis. There's a bunch of cool little shops (including Firecraker Press, Brian), and the only good mexican food in town. So if you do show up at 10:30 local time, you'll have something to do until noon-thirty. |

Sorry, I'm bad about checking the forum. Officially, I'm driving Kyle, Julia and Grizz (Drew). We'll be heading to Louisville tomorrow around 6:30 to spend the night and play some polo. I believe this is the plan for Christina, Jared, Meg and KJ as well. It sounds like everyone that wants to make it to STL has found a way/car.
This weekend is going to be wonderful! Our polo group = <3!!!!! |
