man, I wish I could afford one of those! Hopefully they will still be available if and when it's time for me to replace the Surly. _________________ ------------[] O |

Oh man, I'm all about those 26" wheels!
I think the Joust combines all of the elements that would make the perfect polo bike; geometry that's more akin to a road or track bike, tight wheelbase for quick handling on the court, and smaller, stouter wheels to take the abuse.
A Joust with 48 hole, deep profile 26" rims would be a fucking bombproof polo ass-kicker! _________________ ------------[] O |

that thing was pretty sweet. i was lucky enough to get in a game or two on it at NAHBS. i was a little terrified of trashing something from the Waterford custom shop, but Tucker just seemed so indifferent to it getting trashed. |

Well this is no Joust, But it is pretty cool, I like turners idea of bomb proof 48 hole so much i built an old tandem 48 hole freewheel/ freewheel, (36 up front, 16 ride too, 22 polo time) up to a chukker. its 700 x 36 that keep it glued down, yes one handle bar, equip with a full xtr brake set up, laid back post for easy wheelie goals, and yes ss couplers so i can travel the land by sea and air, with no upcharge for oversized. Dig It, If you know how to sweet talk me, you can ride it in como!

Yeah, i guess i have always rocked the strange cockpit, but, it worked then and this works now, and people are scared to ride it.
I think it must be a little bit unsettling when a guy that is 6'7" rolls onto the court, uses his body mass, and then rips wheelie shots on frame, this set up makes all that easier. _________________ I don't miss the humidity. |

Well i am pretty sure i do have a team , como and me have a little score to settle, but if you are looking for members we have an abundance of b- to b+ players. they all have amazing bike skills, but there mallet skills need some work, ill keep you in mind when i start figuring out teams. and Chris you know its going to be on, we have always been neck and neck in grass polo, and you are the poster child for hardcourt now! I am looking forward to any type of lex polo vs springs polo. See you guys at the halfway point in November. _________________ I don't miss the humidity. |
