Hello all,

Wildcat Wheels (www.wildcatwheels.org), in partnership with the YMCA, has developed a bicycle education survey/quiz in an effort to promote safe and predictable cycling on our campus.

Originally this survey/quiz was planned to be a mandatory component of the bike registration program initiated by UK Parking and Transportation Services. However, due to techincal issues, PTS was not able to make it a mandatory component of the registration process. As an incentive and to make cycling safer, we are giving away a free LED bike light to folks that complete the online survey/quiz. Until today, we were also requiring that you register your bike with PTS in order to receive the free bike light. However, in the interest of promoting bicycling education to anyone and everyone who rides on our campus we have dropped the bike registration requirement.

To take the Survey/quiz, go to www.ukbikesurvey.org

To claim your free light, visit the Wildcat Wheels Bike shop during open hours. A map to our shop and our fall semester schedule can be found at www.wildcatwheels.org

Is this available to non-students as well? I'm still affiliated with the university, but am not taking classes nor am I staff there. Hang around the shop when I get a chance, though, and I could use a light and an expanded mind.

after taking the quiz, you'll be prompted to print out a sheet. it say thanks for taking the quiz, yadda yadda. bring that in and fill out the requested info for a free rear light and a chance to win a free commuter bike.
