So I never really know where to place topics...
Would anyone be interested in building some bike floats for the Holiday Parade on Dec 1? We could build some floats, have some individual bike rides and then see if we can get someone to pay for bike lights or something to pass out. The parade is at 5:30 in the evening so it will be darkish and it ends at the court house where the city will have light up lexington.
I think it could be fun... we had a great showing in the July 4th parade, the kids loved us and I think all who rode enjoyed themselves.
Tall bikes, choppers, floats, etc... lets do this.
Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like a great idea.
A catamaran made from extracycles would be fun, and yet not seasonal at all. |

This is what the parades really need. Alex needs to flank the float on the tall bike! _________________ "The path of least resistance is what makes the river crooked!” - Utah Phillips |

This is a fantastic idea. Wildcat Wheels has lots of spare parts frames etc that we could employ to build some sweet parade vehicles! Lets get together this weekend to start building. Whose down? |

lets see... who do we know that has a welder
A) Brian the screen printer
B) Logan the photographer
C) Brad the wrencher
D) Drew the hot librarian
E) Pat the Welder
:) I bet we could get pat to do some work.
Lets get folks into this and have some fun. |

Logan the photographer's brother loaned his (the brother's) welder to some dude and hasn't seen it in a year. Cross me off the list. |
