Hey ya'll, we're going to be starting cross practice here in Frankfort, KY on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. (for now). Practice will be at the East Frankfort park, which is off of East Main Street, sort of close to KSU. Whether you're a cx expert, or just interested in giving it a try, come on out. If you don't have a cross bike, bring your mountain bike. We'll have some slower warm-up laps, then a few practice race-pace laps. This is intended to be a bit of a challenge and good practice for the cross races coming up, but we also plan to have fun. (In the future we may talk about putting a dollar in a hat for the last heat and winner takes all.) You can expect some barriers, pea gravel, tons of turns, pavement, maybe a run-up or two, and a wooded section. There is also potential for adding a sand volleyball court to the route, or at least just practicing riding through the sand. If you have any questions send me an email cureyourself@hotmail.com
Here is how you would get there from I-64 exit 58

I've put a stopping point in the parking lot in the park that me and Fred will be parking in, it's back behind the dog park/bark park.
Here is a layout of the park http://www.frankfortparksandrec.com/html/east_frankfort_park.html we'll be at the parking lot that is the furthest to the right of the scree. You can also street view the park through googlemaps.
See you out there,
