I finally got my roommate hooked at the indoor race last month, and hes looking for a bike. He missed that fuji that was listed on here by a few hours, but is looking for a road bike that works. He isnt looking to spend a whole lot, but if anyone knows of anybody getting rid of a 58cm-ish bike or wants to sell one themselves, leave a message.
Nobody ever sells on craigslist here and goodwill didnt have squat when we looked. |

He eventually wants a fixie, he is a hipster after all. How much would that end up costing though, I will definitely run it past him. |

I'm growing increasingly tired of seeing these two words used together in the same sentence. |

sort of like a gaggle of geese, i believe its now a fixie of hipsters.
im not trying to generalize, im just saying that he is a hipster, so he naturally wants a fixie. im definitely not insinuating that all fixie riders are hipsters.
and i wrote that cause he is watching this thread but doesnt want to register an account, and gets pissed when i call him a hipster. |

That reminds me of my favorite Dead Kennedys song, "Too Hip for Fixed."
But, well played, Mr. Turner.
I'd like to make it out sometime if you guys think I'm deck enough. Are you sure it won't mess with my periodized race training? What if I'm coming off a peak? What if I don't have any Thrill Jockey tracks on my artfully personalized iPod? _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |
