Since people are starting to get wheel covers, should we come up with a Lexington specific design?

One idea I had was:

I have kind of wanted some wheel covers, but my skill level just didn't make me believe they would do much good for me. On the other hand I really enjoy Lexington's bike polo family. If we had a Lexington logo to put on wheel covers, then I want one. I would rock one out to just support what we have here in Lexington. Also, my friend has a vinyl cutter. I am not sure if this is really feasible, but it could look nice if done right.

Hell yes it would! I say, we should just let everyone supply their own material for the covers, and then maybe we could work something out with your friend and his cutter.

I like your design, Jakub. Good thinking on the "ever-rotating" aspect of it.
Maybe we can just tweak that idea a tad - give it some sort of cool type treatment. Or maybe Alex can hand carve it for us.

I was thinking that 2 polo mallets for the "X" part of the design would be cool.
But then I played around with the idea, and the heads of the mallets end up on the same side of the wheel, or on opposite ends of the same stick.
The only way to make it "ever-rotating" is to make it four mallets with each handle at the center, or two in and two out... is this making sense to anyone but me?
someday, I will get to come play..

now the more I think about the cut vinyl graphic idea... I dunno. Sounds cool, but in reality these wheel covers get scuffed to shit; quickly, too. One good rub with a tire and there goes your vinyl.

A better approach may be to take a simple design like Jakub's, and make a giant spray stencil. It would be more permanent, and each one would look slightly different with the overspray effect.

i agree with brian, simple. but you could make the lex with 2 mallets one head up and one head down and still make an easy stencil.

see... thats what I thought, but one head up and one head down puts both heads on the left, or both on the right.. or both heads on the same stick for symmetry's sake.
