Howdy Crew,
I work for UK and every April we put on a full month of events called Earthdays in the Bluegrass. There are about a half dozen bike events in there and several dozen other events. Check it out: www.earthdaysinthebluegrass.org |

S -
This is a great line up and I will be talking it up to everybody I can. Will participate in a couple of events that I can shake free for and always look forward to getting muddy and tired planting trees for the Reforest Project. Might I suggest a little morning coffee and baked treats at Bluegrass Baking Co. in the Stonewall Center shopping center on Clays Mill at the corner of Wellington Way before you get to digging.
Appreciate all your and collaborators' Earthday efforts.

I like the way you guys did the calendar events on the website, Shane. I wish BikeLexington would list theirs that way too. _________________ ------------[] O |

Brian, Let Kenzie and Boyd know that you like that style. I think they are working on the layout now.
There has been talk about trying to categorize events again but it seems some of them might be thin. Dunno. |

just a reminder to everyone that the Share the Road bike ride is tomorrow (or today, since you probably won't be reading this in the next 30 minutes) - Friday, whichever way you look at it.
we'll be meeting at Woodland Park at 5:30 to go ride around the streets of Lexington for an hour or hour and a half before the showing of Still We Ride at UK. Last year we had about thirty people come ride in the torrential downpour of an April shower for about an hour, so I'm sure tomorrow's beautiful weather will only do wonders for the turnout.
expect sunshine and a good time! |
