I think. What do you all think about doing a Independence Day Polo BBQ Invite? There is not much going on around that date and i think we could get people from some other cities. Think of the photos, sandlot style fireworks in the back ground, sweet!!!

I've got fireworks! Though I've got to say a lot of larger teams will be in Ottawa that weekend for the North Side Polo Invite. This would be a good time to get other teams from this area together and I would believe that Dayton might be the only ones sending a team up there for that.

Doug D. from NYC also states to keep away from this weekend, but like I said, we don't plan on going to Ottawa. Do we?

There's still Louisville, Cincy, Cleveland, Columbus, Indy, Ionia, St. Louis, Columbia, etc... lots of others cities that we can invite to come down.

I think later on in the day is best. For some reason I really enjoy getting my drink on in Pheonix park and listening to music.

Don't know if I want to do the parade this year or not.

i think it would be a good day for something like this. The tourney could start early then be finished early so we could show visitors how we do independence day in Lexington. Or if the lights at Coolavin are operational then it could be after. Or just invite people in for party on Saturday and then tourney the next moring. Anyway, the options are limitless, but I think it is a good idea. If you need some volunteers for organization, count me in.
