Visit the Lexington Craigslist rants and raves section to read some funny posts over the last few days about bicycling.

so that's where those conservative blow-holes go when there's nothing worth vomiting about in the comments sections of the Herald-Leader articles...

Actually, I think the "fucking nuts" award in this case is a toss-up between the pro-bike and the anti-bike antagonists. Mostly because they're using Craigslist to get shit off their chest. That's even lamer than using a forum!

I always suspect those people don't have any friends or relatives who are still speaking to them, and are too agoraphobic to go stand on a street corner shouting, so their only remaining outlet is yelling into the aether on CL.

Speaking of protest, who's planning on laughing at the tea baggers tomorrow?

an anti tea party ride is a good idea. piss on their parade. but lets make sure we avoid curvy roads and stay on the sidewalk and not let anyone see our penises

The tea baggers are going to be in front of the court buildings from 12 to 3. Must be nice to have enough money not to have to have a day job.

Who wants to stand on a step ladder on top of the library parking garage with their pants down so I can take a picture of you tea bagging the tea baggers*?

*not really, I don't want to see your nuts

i saw we do a 3 hour ride, restricted to limestone, short, mlk, 2nd and main streets. In full spandex tmobile time trial suits. and stay out of the bike lanes, and spend government money while doing it.

We should make signs saying, "Government Stimulus Paid For This Bike!"

Or, we should make giant cardboard costumes shaped like 'T's, and then stand around looking confused.

Actually, I won't be able to attend because I'll actually be working and being productive with my time... which is something these fucking Ayn Rand-quoting yahoos should be doing as well, instead of protesting and complaining about their government.

Most of them are old, bitter retired folks. Which is why they don't know what 'tea bagging' really is.

I hope I did not get my chance to use people's words against them.

I think it could have been fun to bike by and tell them
A) "Love It or Leave It"
or
B) "Get a Job You Hippy"

Maybe I'll just go to the Baseball park and stage my counter protest!
