I think we should get teams that play well together. We play 2 or 3 games every sunday and maybe a few wednesdays too. that way when we go to tournaments we are not just lost. i feel that the more you play with the same people the more you get this kinda connection you know where your teams are going to be without even talking. all aspects of the game just improve. i'v been wanting to open this form for a while tell me what you all think.

This makes sense but for folks who don't play twice a week would be just be dumped onto a team when we do show up?
My skills already suck but it would be rough to always get lumped into a team of stragglers and then go up against a powerhouse regular team
Just my thoughts. YOu can disregard them since I am an irregular player. I like the beer more than the game anyways |

I don't think Chris means that everyone will be segregated into set teams every game. That would make polo days not so much fun.
I think what he means is that we should think about what three player combos seem to play really well together, and have that combination of players focus on playing a few games together as a team each game day (or night).
I can already think of a few people that I feel especially fluid with when I'm on their team, but then again, those players may not feel the same way about me... so I think instead of coming up with obvious ringer teams, we should really start thinking about who plays well together and try different combinations. After all, Chicago showed us that we can't rest hope on one or two strong teams, because it is hard to predict that those same people will even be able to play together, or make the trip once a tourney comes around. _________________ ------------[] O |

I like the idea of tournament play and would really like to start playing with and against other people in other areas.... So, I am down for whatever, whenever. _________________ foreverpedal |

oh yea, i mean just 3 or 4 games a week (out of 8 to 10 games played both wed and sun). just so a few games each week 3 people on a team will play together, in a random game.
