Did you win?

Just kidding, I love to poke fun at the money suck of cycling. I like the bearded guy in Ironman 2007 who rolled in jeans, running shoes and at-shirt. I wonder how he felt on the run after riding 112 miles in cut off jean shorts

Louisville doesn't have the specialized stuff like lexington. An overwhelming amount of cannondales though.

i love how through the whole article they act like at any moment the cops could roll up sirens blaring, swat teams repelling from helicopters, to stop their elicit riding of bike in a non authority sanctioned manner. Does it say what they each drove their bikes to the race on?

they all probably live in the east end and the only road they've ever ridden on is river road - with 20 other spandex lawyer fatties in front and behind them

how's that for a sterotype bitches?

I think it was funny how many times the article mentioned that the cops could show up at anytime, look inconspicuous and be ready to bolt it was like he was trying to give the event street cred. The event kinda reminds me of the crit race a few years back in the rupp parking lot. although I just sat and drank beer it was nice to have a race in a contained space. 2cents.

I am riding the next alleycat in hammer pants to try to breakdown stereotypes.

I voiced the groups concerns to the Louisville cycling community and received this response:

"In an effort to best attend to the image-management needs of alley cat racers, world-wide, I'd like to extend my warmest invitation for an information-sharing session to you and those you represent. As a recognized provider of care to alley-cats in the Germantown area of Louisville (as in feline domesticus var. "alley cat") I am delighted to have this opportunity to both expand my knowledge base and build the collective brand of your constituents.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience so we might discuss the needs of your group further.

Regards

Dr. Miguel Dulinguez, Vet. "
