Hey, in case at least a couple of people who read here might be interested, here's a request:
--
As you may or may not have heard, there's an effort underway to have the Bluegrass Cycling Club sponsor a racing team next year, open to any club member (or anybody who joins in the future). As part of the process of setting up the new team--which is likely to mostly consist of new or newish racers in the near term, though all are welcome--the club's executive committee asked me to place a poll gauging interest in the project on the BCC's online forum.
Please visit the forum, here:
http://bgcycling.org/forum/index.php
...and look for a poll titled "A Bluegrass Cycling Club Race Team in 2008?" in the "News & Current Events" folder. You may have to register as a user of that forum to take the poll if you aren't already, but that just takes a second.
Questions, comments, and suggestions--at that forum, at this one, or via e-mail--are welcome.
Cheers,
Christopher Rowe _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |

The Bluegrass Cycling Club will have a racing team in 2008. You have to be a member of the club (which I think is twenty bucks a year) and race wearing a BCC jersey. We're open to all but particularly welcome riders new to competitive cycling. If you have questions, please send me an e-mail.

I'm picturing Christopher's face there, but the difference is, he's naked. Weird. |

So you don't have time to answer my e-mail queries about giving you money but you have time to fantasize in public? _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |

(yeah, Mr. World Traveler has all kinds of time on his hands now.)
Seriously though, check your email now, Christopher... I just sent you a reply. we're in the process of switching to a new email address, and I have been really slack about checking the old one lately because that email server is such a pain in the ass. |
