If you are available to attend please do. It is unfortunate that the Lt. Gov group decided to have this take place in such an inconvenient time and location.

Also, if you are available please attend the Legacy Trail mtg on friday.

Thanks to Wendy Trimble, Bill Gorton and the rest of the group working on Share the Road signage. We have funding in place for 40 signs to go up over the next few months.

Lt. Gov. Mongiardo to announce new bicycle and recreational grant program

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 10, 2008) — Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo and members of the Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeways Commission will announce funding for the Paula Nye Memorial Education Grant program. The program is designed to promote bicycle safety, healthy lifestyles and economic development. The event will be held at 1 p.m. EST at the Kentucky Horse Park, International Museum of the Horse, Lexington.
