Hi, I posted this in the general discussion but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post it in the polo section as well:
Hello Lexington bike people! Somebody suggested I post here to try to find a place to crash this coming Friday when I hit town to go to that Tsuga Arts Benefit-some of you may be going?
It sounds awesome and I'm coming all the way from Portland, OR to attend-mostly cos I decided I wanted to see Will Oldham in concert and he hasn't played in Portland in years, and I didn't know who he was then. Oops. So, I'm heading out for music, to help save trees, and to drink some quality bourbon(duh).
I am nice and won't kidnap your cat or break your dishes! I really just don't want to have to pay for a hotel while I'm there-especially since this morning my roommate informed me she doesn't want roommates anymore-so my budget just got a lot tighter. Ah, the joy of roommate melodrama! boo, hiss. I like to keep my drama in the movies, at cross races and on the polo court! (I was surprised to see Lexington has bike polo, hup hup!)
Ok, so it would be awesome if you have a couch I could crash on, or know of somebody who does. It'd be super awesome if you had a bike to loan/rent for my not quite two days of being in town. Nov. 21st, I get into town on the Greyhound from Louisville in the morning and it'd be cool if I could drop my bag off and chill for a bit before exploring the town and then heading to the show.
Any tips/leads would be greatly appreciated!

unfortunatley no, i have to fly out of louisville very early! i'm bummed cos it would be really fun to check out your guy's polo! you play the same days we do over here! i didn't know there was polo there and its been really hectic tryingto organize my trip-having to take the greyhound kind of means i don't get to do things like hang out til 4 to play polo. the sadness! the good news is i'll be back in portland in time for polo! |

um, of coarse we got polo. we may not be the best, but we can send up the most teams to the bike polo championships in chicago. as for sleeping accomodations i might be a possibility if you cant find anyone else. |

Go to Stella's at 147 Jefferson St. They have food there. |
