Hello Lexington bike people! Somebody suggested I post here to try to find a place to crash this coming Friday when I hit town to go to that tsuga Arts Benefit-some of you may be going?
It sounds awesome and I'm coming all the way from Portland, OR to attend-mostly cos I decided I wanted to see Will Oldham in concert and he hasn't played in Portland in years, and I didn't know who he was then. Oops. So, I'm heading out for music, to help save trees, and to drinks ome quality bourbon(duh).
I am nice and won't kidnap your cat or break your dishes! I really just don't want to have to pay for a hotel while I'm there-especially since this morning my roommate informed me she doesn't want roommates anymore-so my budget just got a lot tighter. Ah, the joy of roommate melodrama! boo, hiss. I like to keep my drama in the movies, at cross races and on the polo court! (I was surprised to see Lexington has bike polo, hup hup!)
Ok, so it would be awesome if you have a couch I could crash on, or know of somebody who does. It'd be super awesome if you had a bike to loan/rent for my not quite two days of being in town. Nov. 21st, I get into town on the Greyhound from Louisville in the morning and it'd be cool if I could drop my bag off and chill for a bit before exploring the town and then heading to the show.
Any tips/leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, i just need to have a place to stay overnight, this coming Friday, nov. 21st. I'm getting into town either in the early afternoon or late morning. It'd be cool if I could go by the house before the art show and concert so I know how to find it. I'll be out late at the concert I presume, and then I'm gonna hang out exploring Lexington until later that night when I have to head back to Louisville. So I won't really be in anyone's hair-I'd just really appreciate a couch to lay my head down on. |

I wouldn't sweat it... I'm sure out of all the kind folks here in town, someone will come through with a place for you to crash. I'd guess a majority of the folks who hang out here will be going to this show. _________________ ------------[] O |
