For all you homebrewers out there I have some stuff I am looking to get rid of.

1. Empty 15 gallon Keg that you can cut the top off of, put a spigot and call it a brew pot. I have one that I use to brew 10 gallon batches of extract brew or you can use it for all grain brew pot.

2. Ball Lock soda keg. Say you want to build up a kegerator to keg your homebrew. I have a soda keg with the hoses and connects. This is a coke keg not pepsi.

Let me know if you are interested and what you got in return. I'm not really looking for money but willing to trade for homebrew, original art, fun bike swag, etc

are you just trying to get rid of some extra stuff, or are you cutting back on brewing?

I hope it's not the latter Wink

Shit, I didnt know you brewed. I am very interested in both. I have been brewing for a little over a year now with 4 friends, and we are about to make the jump to all grain, but the only kettle i have that is big enough for the boil is also used as a deep fryer and i am worried about it leaching flavors into the beer, despite it soaking in bleach for about 3 weeks now, and will be soaking it in PBW for another 2 weeks. We also just built up a kegerator, and only have two soda kegs.

I will have to get an inventory on what our current brews are, and see if we have anything to trade. I know we have a shitload of stripped crown top bottles, if you are interested in those.

we hope to eventually start a brewpub in covington, lexington, or louisville in about 5 to 7 years.

I have a friend that used to live in Germany and brew his own beer. We have been talking for the last month about turning a section of my basement into an area to do so. He has some of the equipment but not all. When he told me that we needed a large stainless steel pot to boil in, I thought I was a genius by coming up with cutting the top off of a keg. I am interested in whatever homebrew stuff you are looking to get rid of. I don't know what types of beers you like, but buddy likes to brew pilsners and wheat beers. Maybe we could learn off of each other if that isn't what you normally do. I personally don't anything, but have the space to do it.

We have a lot of riders that are also brewers. I have been trying to figure out a weekend in the next few weeks where we can have a bunch of folks get together to brew out my house.

Other brewers/riders
Grant
Brian Ronk
Pat the welder
Tuscan Pat
Brad Flowers

I have never had much interest it opening a brew pub but I think a brew on premise and supply store would be cool to have in town. It would be hard to compete with Liquor Barn in terms of supplies/prices but I think could be fun.

you should see listermans in cincinnati, its one of the premier brewshops in the country.

Basically, we all really dont see ourselves doing much in the fields we currently are working/studying in, and decided that opening a brewing/beergarden sounds like something this region needs more of, and something we all are actually interested in spending our lives doing.
