Okay, so did anybody see this from the instructables.com web site?

After my gig deejaying the bikeprom, turner and i talked about how it would be cool to do guerilla gigs, which i of course, haven't done.

but the appeal goes waaay up with something like this in the mix.

Building something like this seems like a winter project that's pretty far over my head. And yet completely bad-ass. If anybody wanted to partner, I'd be totally into it. I'll bet this one pictured is plenty loud as holy fuck.

That flickr gallery has at least one comment from Mr Brokebike going back 6+ months. Either the bike world is tiny or Brian is every damn where.

I wish the builder had included more info about the battery and amplifier. And live audio with the video clip.

The audio rig we slapped together on Tim's Xtra for parades was probably a lot louder, but also weighed a lot lot more.

yes gentlemen, it's true... thanks to the internet, the world - especially the bike world - is a tiny one. Actually, I'm just a big Flickr geek.

They make everything from neon lighting, to head units, to bike blenders. While some of their stuff isn't really my cup of tea, you gotta hand it to those guys for putting so much effort and care into what they do. There's no doubt that when they build a huge fish-shaped fiberglass speaker enclosure and mount it to the deck of an xtracycle, I bet the thing flat out rocks regardless of how goofy it looks.

I would love to have the cheese to purchase one of their head units:

we have used the far outlet to power a few bike sound systems at Bike Lex and the Holiday Parade. Additionally, I have used this at rallies and protest where electric is not available.
