You might notice new graphics and titles associated with your user name. We're playing around with the rank system, so please voice your opinion.

Over the next weeks, we are undertaking some updates to make the forum better, but the core features you know and love will not change. We are planning features to increase the security of the board and to better integrate the forum with lexrides.com. Throughout this transition, please feel to speak your mind.

for members' post rankings, what if we had them correspond to something like the hierarchy of Campagnolo gruppos?

0+ posts = Mirage
10+ posts = Veloce
50+ posts = Centaur
100+ posts = Chorus
150+ posts = Record
250+ posts = Super Record

maybe that's a little too bike geek'd.

Good ranks. Anybody think they deserve a special rank?

btw...what the hell is a cutter in this case. Where I call my roots (southern Indiana and more specifically Bloomington) a cutter was a man who toiled in the limestone quarries. A sexy man yes, but rough around the neck....more rough and muscle than a townie....hey is the whole system a reference to Breaking Away?

I think I'd like to stay with the poser rank since it most accurately describes me.

Hell no, merino wool jerseys are too sweet to give out to 0 post people.

Alex has a special rank about him. I think it originates from his arm brace.

it would be cool if there was a section for people who are currently signed on to "chat". I mean without creating a topic and posting. Something similar to a chat room or something. I dont know, I'm just bored at work.

Might want to direct that one to Boyd (roller). Not sure if it could be done with phpBB or not.

At most, I usually only see one, maybe two other members logged in when I check the forums.
