Bike out to see the Legends play at Applebee's Park (off North Broadway between Loudoun and New Circle). This Thursday - Aug. 21st.
The last week of home games for the season is coming up, so this will be one of the last ones... and Thursday is $1 beer night. Game starts at 7:05pm, so we'll meet at Thoroughbred Park between 6pm - 6:15pm, and head out from there.
I figure everyone could be responsible for their own tickets ($7, I think) and regardless of our ticket seating, we can all just relocate to a vacant spot in the stands - there's usually a big empty area in the upper stands along the first base line. _________________ ------------[] O

true, but have you tried to sit out in those places and watch a game? It sucks.
I'd much rather pay an extra $3 and get a decent seat and easier access to the bathrooms and beer vendors.
It even sucks to sit in the "Party Deck" along the outfield wall, and the other little S&S Tire deck... I know because I've watched games from those areas (I used to be employed by S&S Tire). You feel like the game is being played a mile away, and you can't see shit. _________________ ------------[] O |

I'd be up for this. _________________ The sound of a car door opening in front of you is similar to the sound of a gun being cocked. ~Amy Webster |

I suppose people could race each other out there if they didn't want to feel so lame. _________________ ------------[] O |

yeah... that sounds great. Let's shoot for 6:15 to meet, since it may take us a while to stand in line and get tickets. _________________ ------------[] O |
