Who built the mallet made from the golf club shaft that pat uses. Im trying to make one at the moment from a putter shaft and I cannot get any of my drill bits to go through it, maybe i need a better bit...

I made it, but it was made from Shane's club that he found. I dunno... just used some really nice Craftsman bits that I've owned forever. Will the bits just not start at all?

I may be mistaken, but golf club shafts are usually either a composite, or steel. Some of them may even be tempered steel, which is tough shit. The best mallet shaft material is simply poles made of good 'ol malleable aluminum... bad thing is, you can't find them for shit here in central Ky.
