Does anyone have an old 3-speed hub (with the shifting linkage and trigger) that they could bear to part with? I'd like to build up a 3-speed and I have an old Shimano hub with no shifter push rod (the part that sticks inside of the axle to shift gears). I either need one of these so I can get this hub functioning, or a fully equipped hub with all of the bells and whistles. I have some random junk or cash to offer in return.

There might be some parts at Wildcat Wheels, I think we had a few of those hubs and parts donated. Check with Shane about volunteering some time and maybe he will trade for the parts.

That's actually where I picked up what I currently have, which is a shimano hub with no shifter linkage and a sturmey-archer hub that doesn't turn. I might need to go back and do some more rummaging though; they might have what I need somewhere back there.
