Please come to help plant trees!
This year, Reforest the Bluegrass will take place at Lexington’s Jacobson Park on Saturday, April 19th from 9:00-3:00. You can stay as long as you like and plant a few, or several hundred trees. I will be working the event all day, and will teach people about tree planting methods and assist volunteer groups. This is a fun event for individuals and families, and even small kids are able to help by placing the seedlings in the holes. Grab your old clothes, boots and gloves.
