The kind that goes on the ground, not on a car. There's several cyclists in my building, and I'd like to get a rack to put on the covered concrete patio so we can all lock up out of the rain. 3-5 slots would be good. Where do you get one of those in Lexington, and how much does it cost? |

Bike shops can order them for you, but I don't believe many of them will do installation. Check out www.saris.com for the Wave rack, it's popular and simple, and comes in a variety of powdercoated colors, mounting options and sizes.
If you wanna give a shout to one of our local yokels, Pat "The Welder" Garnett makes racks you see around town at places like the Good Foods Co-Op and West Sixth Brewery out of old bike frames.
Hope this helps!! |

Another vote to support your local bike scene and those working within it. Bike Bike Creations is Patrick Garnett and Shane Tedder http://bikebikecreations.blogspot.com/
As James mentioned above, they are the ones responsible for many of the bike racks you see around town constructed from repurposed frames and bike parts. _________________ ------------[] O |
