OK, so let's all vote now, then! Check the private forum to vote. We'll just say the poll decides b/c Jessi's right about the texting, etc. So far, the 15th is winning. That's a Tuesday.

One thing about using the "Bike Polo Private Discussion" thread; the way that is set up, it is only available for a set group of users (Boyd and I compiled a list of names of those heavily involved with either playing polo, or involved with the planning of the Midwest Open back during that time)... So, only a select few people will see that thread AND they will only see it if they are signed into Lexrides. If any of those folks just casually visit Lexrides without signing in, the thread, and any new posts won't show up for them.

We set that up back when we were discussing the issues about fighting and the consequences of players breaking the rules and such. Those were all things that those outside of polo didn't need to participate in.

I would suggest we just use the Bike Polo thread for anything regarding the planning of Ladies Army. I agree with Jessi - it is a pain in the ass sometimes to try to get the word out to everyone, and texting and emailing is cumbersome... but from experience, you can't always trust that people will come here for all of their information.

I would be happy to move that poll to here if anyone agrees with me. Just let me know.

Since I put in the bid for LA in Lexington, I was assuming I would be taking on the lead role of the event planning here. I'm a little confused as to what is going on. I think we do need to meet to have a final vote on the date because the ladies in Japan, Europe, and overseas need us to lock it down... and Chris has told them we will have a confirmed date by next week. I can meet this Monday night (I will be leaving town Tuesday) or next Monday night if people would like to discuss the proposed dates and know what else I have been working on so far.

We'll be discussing what sponsorships we've gotten, tournament registration process, the next Flicks for Tits movie, Tweed ride opportunities, polo beer brew, and other fundraising ideas.
