What the hell is this thing that Kona is making now.

It doesn't look like it'll have all the functionality of an xtra or Big Dummy build, since it is really just designed around being able to hang four bags on the back, but the cargo bike category has needed a mass produced complete bike like that.

On the way home today I had the idea that I'd love to see an xtracycle on the back of a Worksman Low Gravity. That'd be the cargo carrier from hell.

yeah, I don't know what's up with that... I think most Konas look cheap, and why have all that tubing in the back if you're only going to equip it with two tiny fanny-packs?

I think this is much cooler, although much more expensive.

Logan, have you ever seen my '64 Schwinn Cycle truck? It's like the Worksman on the left in the photo you posted, except... well... it's the original deal.

It is in pieces in my garage, but someday, it will ride again. I had too much fun with that thing.

for that price the ute is worth it..just make your own bags like george did out of vinyl. or call up seagull or someone and have them make some custom ones..that'd be rad. am i overlooking the rear brake? doesnt seem to have one. that front fender needs some attention too.

There's supposed to be an Avid SD-5 rear brake, hidden behind the bag somewhere.

I noticed the front fender problems first time I saw the picture, looks like the fender struts are too short by an inch.

This is probably a little off topic, but I was just wondering if anyone had seen this website called the Community Bike Cart Project. They claim their cart designs can be built for about $30 with some hand tools and a torch. Cheaper than a xtracycle, and more customizable.
