Sounds fun, and they are open to any costumes... not just zombies. Here are the details, direct from Teresa, who runs Mecca and coordinates the Thriller event:

INVITATION TO RIDE IN COSTUME IN THRILLER AND HALLOWEEN PARADE, SUNDAY OCT 30TH, 8:30pm
Bicycles join us for the 10th Anniversary Thriller Parade! Come in costume and on bike, check in at parade staging area at Water Street at 8pm and ride!!

sorry! October 30th, and the parade / Thriller event starts at 8:30pm. Not sure how early people start lining up for it, though.
