|
|
Mark your calendars for the second annual Autumn Harvest Bike Progressive Dinner on Saturday, October 22, 2011! Enjoy an opulent evening of cycling, games, libations, and locally grown food as we pedal to four stops around Downtown Lexington and raffle away great prizes!
$20 covers a four-course meal, libations, and admission to a great band at Al's Bar. Meat, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available. Each ticket includes one raffle ticket; however, you can purchase additional raffle tickets for $1 during the event to win prizes ranging from local restaurant gift certs (Al's, Stella's, 3rd St, Nick Ryan's, B&T, Shorty's, etc.) to a bottle of Fuente del Fuego to a jar of honey from 5th Street Apiary. Yum.
Only 40 spots are available. Register online at www.lexingtonbikepolo.com. After your registration is complete, you will receive the start address in a e-mail closer to the event date. All you have to do is show up, eat, drink, and have a good time!
Proceeds benefit Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop, the best local, all-volunteer shop in town. Proceeds also benefit Lexington Bike Polo in preparation for Ladies Army IV, an all-female bike polo tournament being held at the Lexington Bike Polo Courts in the spring of 2012. Support your local biking community!
An open afterparty at Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop starts at 10:30pm. Tickets are not required for the afterparty after 10:30pm, so come check out the shop, mingle with great folks, and tell your friends!

Logan, there's a chance we'll include meat this year. So, you won't have to be a stanky stinko... |

Ever since then I've been rubbing some behind my ears before I leave the house. I've never been more popular with stray dogs!
Oh god I'm so lonely. |

Logan, it's confirmed that a meat dish (comprised of manly bison meat) will be available this year, so you don't have to be all sneak-like with the hidden meats.

It would have been a much more manly meat, had we been able to hunt the buffalo all the way to extinction, like real men. |

James, that was for sport hunting that they came close to extinction. If you want, we can get some BB guns set up to sport-shoot some squirrels. Winner gets a new Davy Crockett-style hat and a scalp.
Just kidding. Just kidding. Cool your jets. |

Can we make it a European starling shoot instead? I'd go for that sport. _________________ ------------[] O |

Registration is officially open. Get some peace of mind and purchase your ticket before they sell out. Only 40 available. See www.lexingtonbikepolo.com for details and tickets. Proceeds benefit your favourite things. Plus, the food and beer will be worth it in addition to the free show at Al's Bar.
Do it. |
