Alright, for those of us who had to bail; lets hear some stories... did lexrides represent in the undie game? Did we have some players in the old guy game?

who got their undies frozen in the freeze or their hand put in a pot of cold water?

it was fun for sure, but i think the roller skating was my favorite part as the wait for a game was still an hour and a half or more on average it seemed. not having my car windows smashed out was apparently a highlight as well

My highlights:

Coming up on the entire Louisville crew with a flat on the highway outside of Santa Claus, IN. Then, to find that they were just chilling, drinking, and tossing donuts out the window while waiting for AAA to show up.

Getting to play in the first game of the lock-in, kicking off the 24 hour party

"Fat Chris" (did anyone get a photo?)

Dumptruck hitting a ball so hard, it passed almost entirely through a front wheel - wheel covers, spokes and all.

Tossing handfuls of bouncy balls onto the court during jousts

Tall George telling about his celebrity appearance on the Food Network (watch the first 2:35 min of this video for proof): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffJRt7NKu2U

Pat, playing polo in his designer underwear.

The massive dodge ball game

...and yeah, NOT having Henry's windows broken out of his car was a big plus, too. (4 cars were broken into outside of the Skatium, three of which belonged to lock-in participants).

George is a champ.

That host guy is annoying even by food tv standards.

Well, I do have to admit that it was the best time I have had in a skating rink since junior high school. (and that was first time I ever made it to first base Wink. The memory cells that I have left tell me that it went something like this: Saturday morning I pick up Brian at 6:55am. He is ready and I was not expecting less. We go to pick up Ben. He is still pretty much in bed and the door to his apartment had been kicked in. We inquired, he explained only, "that it was a long story". We roust him and roll out. We bump into Team Louisville on the way with some car trouble. Their spirit was untarnished by this setback and they arrived later adding momentum to the party. We get lucky enough to get a well lit parking spot and mallets in the first game. By the end of the first game the bar that was serving FREE beer was open for business. At this point I need to apologize for the lack of details in the rest of this story.
People flowed in over the next couple of hours and pickup went on all night. About every three or so hours, the coordinators stopped pickup and other events took place. Such as: Exhibition games where the three largest players took on the three smallest players (Pat led the small guys to a 5 - 1 victory), games were played in underwear only, I got to make a high speed ramp jump wearing roller skates with the intention of breaking a pinata at the apex of the arc (the landing drew laughter and bruises). After the pinata it turned into a full blown skate party with colored lights spinning, disco ball twirling and the funkiest skating party music that we all know. There was someone zipping in and out of the skaters on a mini-dirt bike while wearing remnants of the rather large pinata. Later, a massive, free- for-all, dodge ball extravaganza happened which spun new energy into the wee hours and then, more pickup.

The low point of my night:

Accepting the fact that right outside all of this love and togetherness, vandals were playing smash and grab with the cars throughout the night.

The highpoint of my night:

From the broken pinata i retrieved a plain white t-shirt. Across the front in bold font, it simply states "STL>BST".

Thank you, STL bike polo, Thank You.

Seriously Logan. All we needed was the banked turns.

Actually, I do recall two mini-bikes. Why they didn't race them inside around the rink, I have no idea.

They did. You must have been sleeping. It was the organizer guy vs the big dude Ross. Ross was on the shitty slow one and he is also like 300lb. So take a guess as to who won.

Let me also add that the addition of kicker ramps during polo made the night look more like a WWE pay-per-view than a polo lock in. At one point they were smashed to pieces by a crash, then reassembled and still played on. St. Louis took the game to new levels of craziness.

Jessi and I agreed that around 6 AM, with the music, the 50+ person dodgeball game, the mini motos, the guy running/riding around with the shredded remnants of the Andrew W.K. pinata, the lack of sleep, the alcohol consumption, we could of sworn we had slipped into some form of a trip.

Here's the few decent photos that I took... inside the skatium is a difficult place to shoot if you don't have the right camera set up... and I never do.
