Folks have started to brainstorm names for the shop and would love to have other people put some ideas on the table.

Here is a general list so far.

Lexrides ReCyclery
NoLi Bikes
Broke Spoke ReCyclery
The Hub ReCyclery
The Rusty Wheel ReCyclery
Spoke-n-Hub ReCyclery

ReCyclery does not have to be a part of the name. Depending on how the shop/group is organized it could also be a collective, co-op, etc.

No love for Bikewesome?

Ok, ok, I like NoLi Bikes because I'm all about the hip nicknames for neighborhoods.

Please no alternating caps or hip, abbreviated neighborhood names (like TriBeCa). It MaKeS iT LoOk LiKe OuR nAmE, I don't have the patience for this, like our name was conceived by a thirteen year old girl on AIM instant messenger.

how about something simple and descriptive

Lexington Bicycle Cooperative
Northside Bicycle Cooperative

Abbreviated neighborhood names are awesome.

You have a problem with 13 year old girls?

I like Kyle's style. Simple. Direct. No-nonsense. Bike Cooperative sounds better than Recyclery, or Community Bike Shop

But I also really like "Simple Machines Bike Cooperative", or something like that

What about "Everybody's Bike Cooperative"? I know that's ripping off an old shop but it sure sounds inviting.
