Join other trail enthusiasts as we bike from downtown Lexington to the western terminus of Town Branch Trail near Masterson Station Park. Enjoy an afternoon of festivities including the Big Maracas, March Madness Marching Band, a scavenger hunt, games, and lots 'o prizes! http://www.townbranch.org/
The ride will begin at Cheapside Park and follow this route:
Main Street -> Jefferson Street -> Manchester Street -> Old Frankfort Pik...e -> Alexandria Road -> Trailwood Drive -> Sprinters Trail -> Coronado Ridge -> Town Branch Trail. This route follows as closely as possible the planned course of Town Branch Trail. The last 1.8 miles will be on the recently completed section of Town Branch Trail.
One-way distance: 4.9 miles to Town Branch Trail. Round-trip distance: 12.5 miles. Map of route and Trailapalooza.
The ride will leave at 1:00 PM. The ride will not have a police escort and no organized ride back to downtown is planned. Please wear a helmet. We will observe traffic laws and bike as group. A few stops are planned along the way to have riders catch up and for trail interpretation.

Town Branch Trail at Longbranch Lane, Near Bracktown
Leestown Road • Lexington, KY
* Live music by the Big Maracas
* Performance by the March Madness Marching Band and PRESTO, the people-powered piano bike
* A scavenger hunt along the trail, to encourage attendees to learn about our history and environment while they explore the 1.8-mile section of completed trail
* Fun, health-related games & activities provided by Living Arts and Science Center, Seedleaf, Bluegrass PRIDE, YMCA and many others
* FREE Food & drinks
* An opportunity to win a variety of prizes, donated by local businesses
