doppleganger and I can move the stationary bikes around and bump in to each other. Simulated bike polo at it's finest! We'll even grunt for you and spill ketchup simulating blood loss. |

Good Idea...I'll prep some packets. I could even fall down once or twice to simulate injury. Can you throw the ball...even just once? |

Quote: | Bike Polo Demonstration, 2pm to 6pm
Bike polo is a sport that has been around since the late 19th Century, but has recently gained popularity in cities all over the world through a variation of the sport that is closer to hockey than its traditional equestrian namesake. The hard court version of bike polo can be found in appropriated urban environments such as empty parking lots, tennis courts or roller hockey rinks. Bike polo has proven to be a mainstay of the bike culture scene in Lexington, with a recent trip to the North American Bike Polo Championships in Chicago, where Lexington boasted four teams; the most of any city entered in the tournament. |

I've been hearing some bad stuff today about the city not doing a very good job re-routing traffic on Sunday. Including an incident where EMTs had to get out of their ambulance and push a patient on a gurney from the middle of the Harrison Ave bridge to Samaritan hospital ER. |
