Put Friday, May 30th on your calendar and get ready for some boardgame fun. We're playing "Clue." Expect a facinating mystery of foul play and test your ability as a slueth on the streets of Lexington. Who will you dress up as... Colonel Mustard, Miss Peacock or perhaps the rope or the ballroom? More information to come as this mystery unfolds...

the spokecards are modeled after the actual cards from the game, which are red on one side and have the fingerprint on them... |

If you haven't heard by now, Mr. Boddy, apparently the victim of foul play, was recently discovered on the shuffel board courts at The Bell House. Unfortunately, the scene of the crime, the weapon used, and the murderer are undetermined.
Show up at The Bell House at 7:00pm on Friday, May 30th for a debriefing of the known facts. Visit the locations where Mr. Boddy was last seen and collect clues to help solve the mystery of... Who Done It, Where, and How?
Race starts at 7:30. $3 entry fee. Prizes for best costume - M/F, 1st place - M/F, and mystery prizes. You might want a messenger bag to carry any evidence you find! No previous detective or CLUE experience is needed to solve this crime!
Who will you be... Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard, the lead pipe, the conservatory? |

Okay, that was was Musta... Musta... wait, sorry, that's MuLAHtay Astakay...anyway, that was the track, that was some funky Afrobeat there. This is your DJ Mister Mike in the house with the lovely Serena. Serena you wanna say hey?
"Hey."
Okay, thanks lovely Serena.
So, before that, we heard from Heliocentrics, and before that, we heard from DJ Frane, and before that, we heard from Neko Case, and before that, we heard from Dappled Cities, and before that, we heard from the hardest working man in business, in show business, Mr. James Brown, and before that, we heard from Mission of Burma, and before that.... _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |

I love WRFL, but I've long thought new student deejays should be required to go through an intense training course entitled:
"I know there's a cool mic in front of you and all, but now's the time to simply quit talking and play some fucking music 101"
followed by a semester's worth of:
"Because not everyone shares your affinity for 20 minutes of experimental tape hiss 101" |

That's half the charm of WRFL, though. Hearing some of the terrible ones just starting out. |

I liked how Roscoe received such a huge round of applause upon entering Busters...
well deserved! We had a great time. I always have just as much fun working the races as riding in them because I get to see everyone having a good time as well. |
