So Valentines Day has two big events that you need to make sure you attend.
1) I Love Mountains Day Rally at 11:30 a.m in Frankfort. Come show your legislators you love the mountains that they (the legislators by allowing the coal operators to continue to run an outlaw industry) are destroying. Go to www.kftc.org/love for more information.
2) If attending rallies is not your thing and music is, then come down to Al’s on 6th and Lime for an I Love Mountains Old Time Music Showcase. Music starts at 8 p.m. with Red State Ramblers, John Haywood with Ponty’s Camper, Blind Corn Liquor Pickers, and Clack Mountain String Band. There is a $3 cover charge to help benefit Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, www.kftc.org. Bring your instrument and jam from 5 – 8 p.m.
