I am posting this since a lot of folks on here live in the 1st district and many are interested in the at-large race (decides vice-mayor).

Here are the details:

Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, and the Martin Luther King, William Wells Brown, and North Limestone Neighborhood Associations are hosting a candidate forum for the candidates running for Lexington's first district council seats, and the at-large council seats.

Council Members who've confirmed:

Running for 1st District = Marty Clifford and Chris Ford

Running for At-Large = Linda Gorton, Steve Kay, Christopher Hignite, Ralph Ruschell, Chuck Ellinger, Kathy Plomin, Don Pratt, and George Brown Jr.

From 6-7pm the questions will focus on the two candidates running for first district, while from 7-9pm we'll open it up to the at-large candidates. We've provided the candidates with a few questions in advance, but there will be time to take questions from the audience.

Light refreshments and child care will be provided.
