Not to bore everyone to death but I just wanted to let you know how hard our Rep. are working in Frankfort. Thank god they tackled this hard fought issue.
House Bill 331
AN ACT designating Original Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken as the official picnic food of Kentucky.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 2 to designate Original Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken as the official picnic food of the Commonwealth.

And didn't they try to make cornholing the official state euphemism for anal sex last year? Something like that, anyway.
A friend sent me a link to an article this morning about how plastic bags have essentially disappeared from Ireland. They put a (roughly) 33 cent surcharge on every plastic bag at all the various points of purchase that use 'em--grocery stores, etc. Within weeks, pretty much everybody in the country was using reusable canvas bags and the like.
