weather forecast for start time: a little cold, but get your ass out there. I think we'll be on the backend of it, so every hour that passes will be a better hour. Last couple years have been perfect with weather in 60s and no rain.
Think of it this way...at least it's not 22 °F like it was in 1887 or with 1.77" of rain like in 1942. If you're wondering, the warmest halloween was 82 °F in 1950 and Lex vegas has never reported snow cover on Halloween since 1872.
Saturday, October 31 at 9pm
Temperature: 46 °F
Wind Chill: 43 °F
Dewpoint: 44 °F
Surface Wind: WNW 6mph
Sky Cover: 77%
Precipitation Potential: 5% and diminishing
another factoid to chew on. If it rains more than 1.3" over the entire day, it will be in the top 3 wettest halloweens of all time. Most of the rain will have fallen by 8pm with a forecasted total of 1.2" by then...so let's not set any records!

thanks Boyd for the very informative heads up. Everything is set for tonight! Great weather and a huge crowd are expected.
Due to my serious lack of computer skills and unwillingness to pay printing fees, maps will not be provided for individuals. I will have a couple maps available at the registration if anyone needs directions. Also, should anyone need anything during the race, please call me at 502-551-6881.
Thanks and here's looking forward to the best race of the year!

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great race. we had over 70 riders and made close to 300 bucks for the humane society!
thanks to alli, andy, will, kyle, julia, kevin, and the crew from 328 for hosting checkpoints. thanks also to chris and the sidecar for hosting the after party. hope everyone had a great time. see you next year.
i've still got some posters for sale, proceeds directly benefiting their generous artist and printer. prices are negotiable. catch me out and about or at polo. thanks. _________________ pterodactyl bike gang for life! |
