I am welding together a custom freestanding bicycle rack for Busters. It is very large and will be able to accommodate many bicycles. There are some characteristics about it that might interest a newspaper to write a story about it, so I was thinking about contacting the Herald Leader. I need to get some of my facts straight before I try to pitch this. This is where you guys would come in. Where is the largest freestanding bicycle rack in Lexington that you know of? |

probably something at UK?
You should get a press release together. I bet Clark and Jessica could help you with this, and possibly Brad Flowers. He's good at that sort of thing _________________ ------------[] O |

Yeah that was my next step, just trying to get all my information together before that. I will just have to ride around campus with a tape measure to find the longest bike rack. |

Probably in front of/behind chem/phys. or in between the whitehall classroom building and the students center. |

what are you making it out of? We've got tons of junk frames at the shop that would be perfect for more bike racks. any thoughts? _________________ pterodactyl bike gang for life! |

It is actually almost done. I made it out of recycled metal that was taken out of the building where Busters is located. I am pretty sure that UK has taken my thought of having the largest freestanding bicycle rack, but oh well. I am really happy with the way it came together. |
